Welcome to Quantum Athletics!

We are happy to announce a new event in our area:
Half Marathon: 13.1, New York, April 3, 2010
Quantum Athletics is partnering with the American Cancer Society to provide training support and equipment fitting for the runners of this new and exciting event in Queens. Let's run together to keep Queens firmly on the marathoning map!

Quantum Athletics is hosting a Body Rolling workshop in February!
Nothing beats a great set of hands to massage and manipulate your body, but when you can't get to that appointment, Body Rolling is the perfect way to take care of your own body. Like a massage, workout and chiropractic adjustment all in one, Body Rolling is the perfect compliment to any fitness routine. Performing Body Rolling on a regular basis can help runners feel long, lean and light on their feet. They will improve posture and body mechanics thus preventing and healing injury. Used pre or post workout, Body Rolling promotes a faster recovery by increasing blood flow to muscles.
The workshop will be an actual class designed to address the needs of runners. Participants will get on the Yamuna ball and roll out (release) their hamstrings, quads, hip flexors and everybody's favorite, the spine. You will be able to experience first-hand how Body Rolling can help prevent the break down of the body and to keep you aligned, strong and toned.
Bobbi Nigro has been a fitness professional for over twenty five years, with a BA in Physical Education and Recreation, Pilates Certified since 1997 and a Body Rolling Practitioner since 2004. She is a Nationally Ranked Triathlete and Swim Coach.
"Having spent the first twenty five plus years of my career in health clubs and outdoor recreation, I have turned my attention towards a more holistic approach combining Triathlon, Body Rolling and Pilates."
Thursday, February 4th at 7 pm. RSVP.
E-mail preferred to trigirl2@verizon.net or by phone at 347-229-2296.
There is a limit of 12 people. The fee is $15.00 per participant.
